Patient-specific 3D-printed implants
An implant designed from your own CT, for anatomy that off-the-shelf components cannot fit.
Where a previous implant has failed or a segment of bone has been resected, standard components may not restore alignment or load transfer. A custom device is designed from the patient’s imaging, printed in titanium, and approved for that single case.
The design and manufacturing cycle takes several weeks, and it starts with imaging we help arrange. This is a planning-heavy pathway rather than a quick procedure.
What it does not do
- Design and production lead time is measured in weeks, not days.
- Custom devices carry their own regulatory pathway and are approved per patient.
- The decision to use one belongs to the surgical team after reviewing imaging.
These limits are written by us, not by the hospital. If a provider presents this therapy without any of them, treat that as a warning sign.

Boao Super Hospital
The zone's shared platform. Most international patients start here because the special-access catalogue and the multidisciplinary teams are concentrated in one building.

Availability moves with batches and indications. A two-line enquiry is enough for us to confirm whether it is reachable this quarter.
